The death of Michael Jackson was proclaimed as a homicide by Los Angeles coroners on August 28, Friday. According to them, the singer had a lethal mix of 6 different drugs in his body when he died. This is the end to several weeks of speculation about the death of Michael Jackson on June 25. According to the county coroner's statement, while "acute intoxication" from the powerful anesthetic propofol was the number one cause of death, Michael Jackson, 50, had also suffered from the effects of other drugs in his system. Aside from propofol, powerful drugs including lorazepam, midazolam, diazepam, lidocaine and ephedrine were found in Jackson's body. The coroner's statement said police investigators and public prosecutors had ordered that the full toxicology report concerning Michael Jackson be withheld until further notice. Jackson's family welcomed the findings. "The Jackson family again wishes to commend the actions of the coroner, the LAPD and other law enforcement agencies, and looks forward to the day that justice can be served," the family said in a statement. The coroner's statement will nourish speculation that authorities are likely to charge Jackson's personal physician Conrad Murray regarding the death. The cardiologist was the last person to see Michael Jackson alive. According to court documents unsealed in Houston, Texas, on Monday, multiple drugs were administered to Jackson by Murray in the hours before his death. Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner Lakshmanan Sathyavagiswaran "reviewed the preliminary toxicology results and his preliminary assessment of Jackson's cause of death was due to lethal levels of propofol." Murray administered propofol and other drugs to Michael Jackson -- at his insistence -- to treat his insomnia, but was worried Jackson had developed an addiction and "tried to wean Jackson off of the drug," the affidavit said. Propofol is a powerful anesthetic used to induce unconsciousness in patients undergoing major surgery in hospital. Medical professionals say it should never be used by private individuals at home. The affidavit unsealed on Monday revealed that Murray confessed to investigators two days after the star died that he had been giving Michael Jackson 50 milligrams of propofol nightly during the six weeks prior to the event. As part of their investigation, police and federal agents have already raided Murray's offices in Las Vegas, Nevada and Houston, Texas, as well as a Las Vegas pharmacy that provided the drugs. Murray told investigators he was not the first doctor to administer propofol to the King of Pop, who referred to the drug as his "milk," LAPD detective Orlando Martinez wrote in the affidavit, citing the cardiologist. Medical experts said the mix of drugs apparently given to Miahcel Jackson was extremely dangerous and police would need to determine whether administering it was tantamount to medical negligence. Michael Jackson is to be buried at a cemetery in Glendale, California on September 3, his family announced last week. They had originally planned to bury him on Saturday -- the day he would have turned 51.

Mischa Barton, Nervous Breakdown?
Mischa Barton was under involuntary psychiatric hold at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last month and it was because of an operation to remove her wisdom teeth. "I don't know if it was an official breakdown. I don't know. I had a friend who had a quasi-nervous breakdown, but I'm not sure it's the same thing. I'm not sure I'm capable of a full-on nervous breakdown, but it was pretty bad. It didn't last that long,” according to Mischa Barton. “It was more about the pain. I have a newfound respect for people who have chronic pain”. Mischa Barton claimed it might also have been due to her hectic schedule, shooting for her new TV show 'The Beautiful Life' and traveling abroad. Mischa Barton claimed she was feeling down prior to the hospital incident but admits she is now okay.

RYAN JENKINS; SUSPECTED KILLER OF JASMINE FIORE; FOUND DEAD
“Megan Wants a Millionaire” contestant and suspected killer of Jasmine Fiore; Ryan Alexander Jenkins' lifeless body was found on a secluded Canadian motel. Sources say he was checked in by a young woman, yet to be identified. At present, he is the sole suspect for the horrible murder of Jasmine Fiore, his ex-wife. Her body was so badly dismembered; teeth and fingernails missing that the only way the investigators identified her was through the serial numbers in her breast implants. A movie-like ending for a statewide manhunt for the suspected murderer of Jasmine Fiore. According to the manager of The Thunderbird Motel and his nephew, they said they found Ryan Jenkins suspended from the bar of a coat rack by a belt and claimed that a young woman had checked him in the motel. After the mutilated body of Jasmine Fiore was found in a trash bin in Buena Park, real estate developer and investor was charged in California with murder August 20th, 2009. He pulled out the teeth and cut off the fingers of Jasmine Fiore obviously to prevent identification of her body. Manager of Thunderbird Motel, Kevin Walker, claimed Ryan Jenkins and the unknown woman arrived last Thursday in a Chrysler PT Cruiser. Ryan Jenkins was inside the car and the woman checked in for them. According to him, the woman was blonde, early her twenties, and was “naturally pretty”. According to another motel employee, Jenkins "looked stressed out," and “would not look anybody in the eye". The motel manager said the woman paid cash for three nights. After their three-nights stay, the couple did not check out and he wanted to know why. He went to their room and saw his dead body dangling.
Ryan Jenkins and Jasmine Fiore met in Las Vegas in March in a casino. They married a few weeks later. Apparently, they separated and reconciled after that. Jasmine Fiore was a model who worked in Los Angeles and Las Vegas and was also an aspiring actress. Lepore, mother of Jasmine Fiore claimed that her daughter had the marriage annulled in May although no court records could be found in Los Angeles or Nevada. Ryan Jenkins and Jasmine Fiore were married in a Las Vegas casino after "Megan Wants a Millionaire" in March 18. According to Lepore, Jenkins was jealous of her daughter's ex-boyfriends and they fought constantly. Jenkins had been charged with allegedly hitting Fiore in the arm recently, court records showed. Prosecutors said Jenkins and Fiore checked into a San Diego hotel Aug. 13, and Jenkins checked out the next morning. Fiore was never seen alive again.

SHAQUILLE O'NEAL REUNITING WITH KOBE BRYANT
Shaquille O'Neal wants to reunite with old pal Kobe Bryant. While promoting his latest reality show, Shaq vs., he cited that he wouldn't mind playing one season with Cleveland and then returning to Los Angeles. There are 3 factors why he may not return to the Lakers.
Factor #1: Jerry Buss. There was an incident that Shaq was shouting at Jerry Buss, “Pay me, pay me!” News has it that until now, the Lakers' owner still hasn't gotten over the incident.
Factor #2: Kobe Bryant. At the start of Kobe's career, Shaq was the franchise player. There were also many instances where Shaq lashed out at Kobe because of inexperience. Even the locker room was a constant source of feud between Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal. Coach Phil Jackson often sided with Shaq just to pacify the big fella. Now that Kobe has a championship without Shaq, no one can ever say the Lakers cannot win without him. It's Kobe Bryant's team now.
Factor #3: They don't need him anymore. Andrew Bynum, the Lakers' starting center is better than Shaq. When he sits on the bench, Pau Gasol assumes center position. Bynum may not become as good as Shaq in the 2000's but certainly he's a better center now. Simply, there is no room for Shaq in the team even if he settles for a lower salary.

JASMINE FIORE MURDER
There has been a surge in Internet searches for Jasmine Fiore pictures. Jasmine Fiore made a living by swimsuit modeling and appearing in events for Playboy. Because she was mutilated without fingers and teeth, it was almost impossible to identify her body. But investigators' experience proved to be useful as they used the breast implants on Jasmine Fiore. Investigators used the serial number on the implants according to Farrah Emami, a spokeswoman for the Orange County district attorney's office. The man accused of the murder of Jasmine Fiore, Ryan Alexander Jenkins, has been missing since reporting her missing the evening of 15th August. Her nude body was found that morning in a trash bin stuffed in a suitcase in Buena Park City, Orange County. Local authorities claim that Jenkins, a contestant on VH1's "Megan Wants a Millionaire," may have traveled back to his hometown Canada.
Jasmine Fiore and Ryan Alexander Jenkins met in Las Vegas and were quickly married in March. Reports say they have been fighting in recent months. Investigators said the two checked into a San Diego hotel on August 13. Jenkins was reportedly checking out the following morning. Jasmine Fiore was not seen alive again. According to Lisa Lepore, mother of Jasmine Fiore, her daughter annulled the marriage in May though there were no court records of this annulment. When the taping for "Megan Wants a Millionaire" finished in early March, Ryan Alexander Jenkins met Jasmine Fiore in a Las Vegas casino and the two got married. The date of marriage according to court records is March 18. But Lepore claimed, that in May "they had a big blowout" and fought because he was jealous of her ex-boyfriends. Jenkins then went to Mexico to do another reality TV show but struggled to get Jasmine Fiore back when he returned. "He convinced her during that month that he was really the guy for her," according to Lepore. "He wrote poems and stories, and prayed, and (claimed he) had this huge spiritual awakening."

Roger Federer (two-time winner) and Andy Murray (current champion) will be headling a top-two semi-final match at the Cincinnati Masters. Roger Federer, top seed and world number one ably beat former world number one Lleyton Hewitt 6-3, 6-4. Roger Federer made 11 aces over Lleyton Hewitt, a two-time Grand Slam winner who is still not up to his usual form after a hip surgery in 2008. World number two Murray, who grabbed the ranking before winning the Montreal Masters last week, beat French Julien Benneteau 4-6, 6-3, 6-1. The fight flew away from the 55th-ranked Frenchman after a marathon rally in the third game in the second set. Roger Federer and Andy Murray will battle each other for the ninth time. Andy Murray is one of the few players who can beat Roger Federer. Federer beat Murray in the US Open final last year, but Murray has won all four of their meetings ever since, including two matches this 2009. According to Roger Federer, "He's getting up there in the tournament count, and that makes it more exciting to play a player like him, especially him being on a run like he's on right now after winning in Montreal". "It's definitely a good matchup." Roger Federer is attempting to add to the Cincinnati titles he won in 2005 and 2007, while Andy Murray is wanting a second straight after beating Serbia's Novak Djokovic 2008. Rafael Nadal the world number three and second seed, beat unseeded Czech Tomas Berdych 6-4, 7-5 to set up a semi-final rematch with fourth-seeded Djokovic. Djokovic, who ousted Nadal in last year's semis here, beat ninth-seeded Frenchman Gilles Simon 6-4, 7-5. "I'm improving every day a little bit more," said Nadal, who was sidelined for more than two months after the French Open with tendinitis in both knees. "This was a very good win for me. BLACK EYED PEAS MAKES HISTORY ON CHARTS
This week, the Black Eyed Peas made Hot 100 history by becoming the first artist to ever top the chart for 20 consecutive weeks. Boom Boom Pow did majority of the work, which stayed 12 weeks at the top sport before “I Gotta Feeling” broke out and occupied number one for the next eight weeks. This event is first time in the Hot 100’s fifty-one-year history that an artist has held on to the Number One spot for that many consecutive weeks. Over the course of the past 20 weeks, the two singles combined have sold about 5.8 million digital tracks, with “Boom Boom Pow” remaining 2009’s biggest single with 3.8 million in digital sales alone. In related news, Jason Mraz also hit a milestone this week when “I’m Yours” enjoyed its 70th consecutive week on the Hot 100, breaking a record previously set in 1998 by LeAnn Rimes’ “How Do I Live.” “I’m Yours” now ranks as the third best selling digital single all time with sales in excess of four million copies. The song also shows no signs of dropping off the Hot 100 anytime soon: “I’m Yours” finished the week at Number 23, up from Number 35 last week, so that means after 70 weeks on the chart, it’s actually resurging. Grunge Band Pearl Jam, Still Rebels
Alternative and Seattle rockers Pearl Jam, angered bosses at a London concert after their Tuesday night gig overran - with frontman Eddie Vedder staging a sit-down protest as organizers attempted to force the band offstage.
The band whose hit songs in the '90s were “Alive” and “Jeremy” began their stint at the British capital's O2 Arena 15 minutes delayed and played until 11:00 p.m. which is the venue's curfew. But the band was carried away and decided to keep going. When their third set was finished, singer Vedder told the crowd, "We usually finish after this song - but not tonight!" The band played for another 20 minutes until organizers turned on the houselights, to signal that the show was finished. The band said their goodbyes but vocalist Eddie Vedder, cross-legged in the middle of the stage sitting down, clutched his microphone until his band mates played their instruments for one more song.
Consequently, the band might also be fined by O2 Arena management after Eddie Vedder was spotted lighting cigarettes on stage, a clear violation of the smoking ban in U.K. in public places including concert venues. Violators can be fined up to $4,000.

Well Done Willie Revillame
Willie Revillame is a jerk and an unsincere prick, we all know that. And recently, he does it again by proving us correct. I did some adequate research on what he has done to anger not only the kapuso loving Filipino population, but majority of us who love Cory Aquino. Watched the "alleged" video on youtube. Frankly, Willie Revillame was just trying to be sincere --- unfortunately he really can't. That's why many people were dismayed by what has happened. While wowowee was being aired, Cory Aquino's funeral was being televised at the same time on a split screen format. So the valiant gentleman, Willie Revillame commented and wanted the telecast to be put off because he said, he was very much "affected". He said it was improper to be having fun while Cory Aquino's funeral was being shown. Now the stupid people in charge of the telecast did remove it, heeding the request of Willie Revillame. I know what his purpose was --- to appear sincerely sad. Of course we all know that this was for publicity or show. In short, he was pretending to be affected and said. It also gave people the impression that he was giving more importance to his effin show. If Willie Revillame was sensitive and sincere enough, he should have just shut the hell up and continued with the show. If he had a decent-sized brain, he should have thought twice first before opening his mouth. This goes to show what the "true" Willie Revillame is. A man who is capitalizing on poverty to entice viewers. I do not understand why so many people do not "smell" how insincere Willie Revillame is. From the first time I saw Willie Revillame on TV, I know immediately how pretentious this SOB is.
And yet, here he goes again. Why ABS-CBN is so stubborn to stick with this guy, I dunno. There are many out there who can do a better job than Willie Revillame - and be a good example at the same time. A man decent enough not only on camera, but off camera as well.
There are many internet articles and videos out there depicting the a**hole that is Willie Revillame. Find out for yourself, or better yet just watch WOWOWEE.
Do not forget the cheating issue care of Willie Revillame, where other celebrities from the other network got involved because it was down right unacceptable. Of course, the issue never got settled because ABS-CBN is good at mudslinging. There were also many issues of canceled shows abroad where many OFWs and immigrants bought tickets only to find out that Willy Revillame will never show up.
And please, let us be reminded of the stampede that happened on FEBRUARY 4, 2006 at PHILSPORTS ARENA. Now, Willie Revillame is sleeping like a baby at night, but from what I read somewhere in the internet, not all victims have been repatriated properly. My God, so many people died and yet, it seems Willie Revillame has been forgiven already. Do not forget that more than 70 people died in that incident --- victims of poverty that are being taken advantage of, thanks to Mr. Willie Revillame.
Here's more. Recently, Willie Revillame was visited by Manny Villar. As a wannabe president of the country, I thought Mr. Villar is different kind of politician, as it turns out, he is one of those trapos. He was visiting Willie Revillame because of the new controversy he is enjoying right now (hahaha). And his main purpose is to let us know that he wants Willie Revillame to be included in his political lineup. F*ck. This only proves that Manny Villar is a traditional politician after all, riding on popularity to win an election. He even said that Willie Revillame is qualified to be a senator. Seriously? Are you out of your mind? So what will happen if Willie Revillame becomes a senator? What do you expect? When he was hosting MTB, he was so full of air, he even mentioned that (together with Randy Santiago and John Estrada) they were the new Tito, Vic, and Joey. Bragging of how good of a host they are, and how their show was number 1 in ratings. So, if Willie Revillame becomes senator, expect the worst.
The one and only Willie Revillame. He never fails to entertain. Some people hate him, some people like him. But here's an unfathomable fact --- some people LOVE Willie Revillame. I still do not understand why people do not see the insincerity. Maybe some are just blinded by what Willie Revillame is saying on TV. He and ABS-CBN are just capitalizing on the Filipino people's poverty. Giving away money eveyday and pretending to be "concerned". People do not see the real Willie Revillame because they are blinded by their needs.

Michael Jackson Glove To Be Auctioned
There are also other items including Michael Jackson's Bad tour jacket, a fedora hat he wore at the 1995 MTV Music Awards, a zombie costume from the Thriller video and hand-drawn pictures by the star are also going under the hammer at the Music Icons auction. A special-edition book about Michael Jackson signed by celebrities will also be sold at the auction. Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand and P Diddy are among the names that have been approached to sign the 400-page Michael Jackson Special Edition Opus which publishers have described as an "exhaustively researched and lavishly produced work-of-art".
Proceeds from the event which will take place at the same time in London and Los Angeles, will go to five of the charities Michael Jackson supported during his life. The date of the auction and the names of the charities that will benefit are yet to be confirmed.
LES PAUL, GUITAR INVENTOR, DIES AT AGE 94
He died in White Plains, New York because of pneumonia. His credits include inventing or discovering many recording innovations which are overdubbing, delay effects, and multitrack.
A virtuoso, his talents in guitar extended into his playing style, including licks, chording, phrases, trills, and fret techniques. He has his own unique guitar playing style, making him a step ahead of his counterparts.
It was at the age of eight when Paul became interested in music. Before picking up the guitar, he first took on the harmonica and banjo. At the age of 13, Paul was performing semi-professionally as a country-music artist. His passion for playing the guitar continued, soon he dropped out of high school to pursue it.
Paul's revolutionary invention is the solid-body guitar, once known as the “the log”. This guitar was nothing more than a cut-out of common 4" x 4" wood with a guitar bridge, guitar neck, and pickup. Gibson Guitar Company incorporated Les Paul's suggestions into their own design and called the guitar a “Les Paul”. He signed a contract where he would not be seen playing a guitar other than a “Les Paul”. This is guitar is an icon, easily one of the recognizable figures in rock and roll. Though Paul was required to usually pose with his guitar, he admitted that at first he did not like how it looked the first time he saw it. There were rumors that he ended endorsement of the guitar due to his divorce with his wife. Later on, the Les Paul guitar was renamed as Gibson SG. When Eric Clapton was seen using the guitar, its popularity was resurrected. Les Paul revived his ties with Gibson and endorsed the guitar again. In 1978, Les Paul and Mary Ford were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 1988, Paul also was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Jeff Beck. Jeff Beck himself admitted that he copied too many guitar licks from Les Paul. In 1991, the Mix Foundation created an award given yearly under his name; the Les Paul Award, given to individuals or entities who have made contributions in the creative application of technology in audio. Les Paul was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in May 2005 because of his contribution for the development of the solid-body electric guitar. Paul was inducted into the National Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2006.
